About Us

Arise Home Health Care Staff

We Were Clients First

Our son required home health care. We expected more service than the home care agencies in the Central Minnesota area were willing to provide. We founded Arise Home Health Care when we saw his needs and the needs of many other families in the area were not being met. This experience has created high levels of empathy for our clients, making Arise drastically different than other home care agencies.

We're committed to:

*Tenaciously developing and delivering consumer-driven services that nurture the whole person - body, mind and spirit.

*Earnestly believing each individual we serve desires and deserves dignity, individuality and independence.

*Enthusiastically employing caregivers whose compassion is abundant, caring is genuine, expertise is apparent and whose flexibility comes easily.

*Boldly challenging the bureaucracies of the health care industry to recognize that quality care and business success are not a function of size.

Company Profile

Arise Home Health Care was started in 2000 in St. Cloud, MN by Jay and Melody Vachal. It was first known as Vachal Home Health Care. Jay, a respected local businessman, and Melody, a Speech/Language Pathologist specializing in early/special education, started the agency as a way to improve the personal care services available to their son Isaac who has Cerebral Palsy and is blind. The business was incorporated in 2002 and the name was changed to Arise Home Health Care. In 2004, the company expanded into its new corporate offices at 2907 Clearwater Rd. in St. Cloud, MN.

About that same time, Melody became the primary Caregiver for her father. In response to his care needs, Arise HHC created its Adult/Eder Care Division which includes Non-Medical and Nurse Delegated Services.  Today Arise HHC has 65 Caregivers providing services throughout Central Minnesota.
